A contact represents a record in a campaign. Contacts require an email address. Contacts with the same email address can be part of two separate campaigns but cannot be duplicated in the same campaign.
Creating contacts
If you are looking to create contacts, please look at Campaign > Create Contacts. Creating contacts requires that they are part of a campaign.
